Get up early today and take an express Machu Picchu day tour, the iconic Inca citadel, was named the World’s Leading Tourist Attraction at the World Travel Awards (WTA), widely regarded as the “Oscars of Tourism.”

Our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 3:45 a.m., or at the agreed time. You’ll then be transferred in a tourist vehicle to the Ollantaytambo train station. You’ll take the 6:10 / 6:40 a.m. train, which will pass through the charming Urubamba River valley surrounded by beautiful landscapes of huge mountains covered with vegetation typical of the inter-Andean region.

Upon arrival in the Machu Picchu town (also known as Aguas Calientes), our staff and a professional local tour guide will meet you. This guide will accompany you on your tour of the Inca city of Machu Picchu.

From Aguas Calientes, together with your tour guide, you will take a shuttle bus to the main entrance of the Machu Picchu Inca citadel, which takes 25 minutes to climb along a winding road.

Escorted by your local professional guide, you’ll pass through the checkpoint and take the circuit and route indicated on your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu and explore the lost city of the Incas for 2 hours. As you contemplate and photograph the Inca empire’s masterpiece and the enchanting scenic beauty that surrounds it, your tour guide will reveal the site’s rich history, complex architecture and mysteries.

After your Machu Picchu guided tour, you’ll take the bus down to the Aguas Calientes town and have lunch on your own. Later (at 15:20 / 18:20 hrs), take your return train to Ollantaytambo (1.40-hour journey). On arrival, our staff and the tourist bus will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco (1.5-hour trip).
